Good eats for tuesday 2/12

Okay, so I think some people were discussing having our eating-outing next Tuesday, after class. Can everyone make it? If so, I will bring my ungodly suburban to Claremont. Please respond back. Do we know where we are going? Do we need reservations - if so, does anyone want to volunteer making them?

ooo yum yum! fyi, even though i know we all (except nancy) raved about din tai fung in class, it IS sort of far, and esp. going there after class we might get stuck in a lot of traffic...so i dunno if we wanna take that risk or not! also, i don't think we have to worry about reservations anywhere, bc it's a tuesday night, and unless we're eating at a 5 star restaurant in beverly hills it's prob. not necessary! =)

din tai fung doesn't take reservations anyway.

some other suggestions:

Guasalmex: guatemalan, salvadoran, and mexican food in one restaurant. in pomona. amaaaazing pupusas and they make it legit. about $8 a dinner.

Saunamluang (sp?): best thai food in Claremont, at least i think. interesting atmosphere for our conversation.

King Taco: just as far as Din Tai Fung but cheaper and FREAKING delicious burritos and green salsa. cheap. i ate this stuff while in my mother's womb.
